Soares dos Reis School of Arts is dedicated to the teaching and practice of the visual arts and mainly offers four specialized art courses: Audiovisual Communication, Communication Design, Product Design and Artistic Production.
These four courses, directed solely at the level of high secondary education (before college), resulting in three grades - 10th, 11th and 12th - are oriented in a double perspective: study prosecution in technological specialization courses or higher education (university or polytechnic) or placement into the active, working life.
The school campus consists of several new buildings, comprising classrooms, workshops and support facilities, surrounded by greens and open space, featuring excellent conditions and high availability for a modern, twenty-first century school experience.
Broadband Internet access is available, both wired and wirelessly, throughout the whole precinct.
Every school year, the students produce numerous art objects spanning several fields of study: graphic arts, jewellery and goldsmith, garment fashion design, artistic furniture and ceramics, just to name a few.
These school works are often publicly shown in roadshows and exhibitions in Portugal and throughout Europe, benefiting from partnerships with other european schools and institutions like PLE and from European Union education and training programs like Erasmus.
